Kinky Boots

The following 2 costumes are finale costumes for two of the Angels in The Clarence Brown Theatre production of Kinky Boots I draped and then constructed these two costumes with the aid of MFA graduate design student Alex Heder. As part of our Graduate training program at UTK I pattern and construct with the grad students in their second year. Outside of the practical technology experience this enables the students to better understand working with a patternmaker as a stitcher and working with a stitcher from the standpoint of the patternmaker.
